How to make Gethuk
Ingredients :
- 1,5 kg of buttery cassava
- 250 gram of cheese
- 200 gram of sugar
- Some satay sticks
- Orange esssence for orange color
- Strawberry essence for red color
- Grape essence for purple color
- Pandan essence for green color
- Yelow food color
- Cooked shreded coconut and some salt
How to make Gethuk
- Cook the cassava and coconut for around 15-20 kinutes. Separate the coconut then.
- Mash the cassava until smooth, add the cheese and sugar. Mix well.
- Prepare the colorings. Parts the cassava into five or six parts. And add coloring according to your taste.
- Roll into the balls and arrange them by satay sticks.
- Enjoy it with the cocounts.
How Gethuk is made
Gethuk (pronounced : geutoock) is a traditional typical Javanese, and identical to Javanese itself since a long time. It is a variants of cassava-based based of among Javanese cassava is one of staple food along with rice. Here how Getuk is made.
